Certify as a Hapkido instructor
Instructor accreditation with Hapkido Australia is evidence-based and assessed against the national standard. National endorsement is mandatory at every level of the structure. There is no local-only teaching credential.
Accreditation structure
Accreditation runs across five levels. Appointment at any level is based on demonstrated competence and rank rather than time served, and every appointment carries national endorsement.
Assistant Instructor
Supports a class under the supervision of an accredited instructor.
Club Instructor
Holds responsibility for instruction at a single affiliated club.
Senior Instructor
Leads instruction and mentors instructors across a club or region.
Examiner
Authorised to conduct gradings against the national standard.
Senior Examiner / Technical Panel
Sets and reviews technical standards and presides over senior gradings.
Certification process
Accreditation follows a defined, evidence-based process. Where the standard is not yet met, the candidate receives a deferral with written development notes rather than a refusal.
